Radiation Therapist Location: Merced, CA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $2,712 to $2,906 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title : Radiation Therapist City/State: Merced, California Shift: 8H Days 0730-1600, no call, no weekends Contract Length: 91 weeks Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: Seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist for an 8-hour weekday shift in a radiation oncology unit. The role involves providing therapeutic radiation treatment to patients while ensuring patient safety and care quality. Responsibilities: Administer accurate radiation therapy to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and protocols. Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators and simulators. Monitor and document patient treatment accurately. Collaborate with medical professionals to adjust treatment plans as needed. Requirements: Must possess and maintain a current Therapeutic Radiology license issued by the state of California. Must possess and maintain a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certificate. Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate. Demonstrated skill in the use of radiation therapy equipment, including knowledge of linear accelerators and simulators.
