Physical Therapist Location: Mammoth Lakes, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,655 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shifts Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California Certifications: BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments Description: Physical Therapists are responsible for the evaluation of patients referred for physical therapy treatment. They formulate treatment plans and goals and administer physical therapy treatments. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, interacting with multiple departments and medical staff. The Physical Therapist provides 1:1 patient care with one 45-minute appointment every hour. They perform appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on the patient's diagnosis. The therapist develops treatment plans and revises them every 6 weeks or earlier if necessary based on the patient's progress. They perform physical therapy techniques appropriate to the diagnosis and demonstrate the use of modalities. The Physical Therapist documents progress reports in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow-up visits. This documentation assists with compliance for insurance carriers and utilization review companies regarding authorization and reimbursement. In addition to scheduled weekday and Saturday shifts, the therapist will share coverage for inpatient care on holidays and Sundays. A team-oriented individual who enjoys collaboration with co-workers for optimal patient outcomes is essential.
