Position Job Title: IV Room Pharmacist Profession: Pharmacy
Specialty: Pharmacist Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day
Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in
sterile compounding IV room, including hazardous and non-hazardous
drugs. License: California Pharmacist License required.
Certifications: BLS RPh Chemo/Hazardous Drug Certification PharmD
Must-Have: PharmD degree Sterile compounding IV room experience
with hazardous and non-hazardous drugs. Description: This position
requires a pharmacist specializing in IV room activities. The shift
is from 08:00 to 17:00. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years
of experience in sterile compounding. Experience with both
hazardous and non-hazardous medications is essential. Weekend work
is not required. Candidates with experiences as first-time
travelers are welcome, provided they meet the required experience.
On-call duties are not required for this position. Floating to
other facilities may be needed based on client needs.
Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. Candidates
should possess skills in inpatient/acute care, clinical dosing,
pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic medication monitoring, and
compounding IV medications. The role involves working with IV
piggybacks and IV push medications. Candidates will be expected to
comply with all necessary training and requirements prior to
starting the assignment. References will be required from
candidates within the last year. Requirements Required for
