Summary: The Rapid Response Nurse is a highly trained critical care
professional who responds to medical emergencies within the
hospital, providing immediate support to patients whose condition
is deteriorating unexpectedly. The Rapid Response Nurse will
quickly assess the patient and determine the necessary
interventions needed. Qualifications: Education: Completion of an
Accredited School of Registered Nursing Prefer Bachelors Degree in
Nursing Experience: Requires 5-7 years of nursing experience in a
combined specialty area, ICU and ER Requires CCRN, CEN, or TNCC
Certification (within one year of employment) Prefer prior Crisis
Nurse experience (1-2 years) Training: Strong healthcare management
and leadership skills. Clinical knowledge and skills appropriate to
ICU and/or ER level of care Experience in responding to constant
changes in tasks; use of critical thinking skills Ability to work
quickly and safely in a dynamic environment
License/Registration/Certification: Current State of California
Registered Nurse Licensure Current American Heart Association BLS,
ACLS, PALS and NRP Certification Current CCRN, CEN or TNCC
