Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift: /nDay Shift - 5x8's. On call schedule: Over a 6 week period - 2-3 weekday and at minimum of 1, 12 hour on call for weekend. Max of 2/n/n /n/nWork Experience: /nFacilitates physician's performance of invasive and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly monitoring the maintenance of the sterile field./n/n /n/nEducation:/nAssociate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: Required/n/n/n /n/nLicense:/n/n/nCertified Surgery Technician (CST) certification or Tech in Surgery TS-C (NCCT) certification: Required/nNational Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified/n/n /n/nCertifications: /nBLS/CPR Certification. /n ProKatchers Job ID S33661.
