Responds to patient requests for assistance. Provides information to patients, families, and physicians. Provides other clerical support to nursing team as required. /n Job Requirements: /n/n Education and Work Experience: /n /n - High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred /n - Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred /n - One year's relevant experience: Preferred /n - Hospital or medical office experience: Preferred /n /n/n/n Licenses/Certifications: /n /n - Unit Secretary training course: Preferred /n - Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification: Preferred /n /n/n/n Facility Specific License/Certifications: /n /n - Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required /n /n/n/n Essential Functions: /n /n - Processes orders and assists unit visitors and callers. Ascertains flow of patients admission/transfers. Assists in scheduling patient procedures and assembling patient charts. /n - Performs data collection and maintains data on an ongoing basis. Assists in scheduling patient procedures.
