Interventional Radiology Location: Clovis, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,925 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Interventional Radiology Technician Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required Must-Have: - 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology - State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit required - American Registry Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required - ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography preferred - ARRT Cardiac Interventional preferred - ARRT Cardiac-Vascular Intervention preferred Description: Works with proceduralists as part of a procedural team to perform interventional procedures. Handles routine diagnostic angiographic procedures to complex vascular, non-vascular interventional, and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for correctly identifying the patient and ensuring correct patient identification with all imaging equipment. Ensures the integrity of patient identity in all information systems used during procedures. Sets up sterile procedural trays correctly for each procedure. Preps the patient for exams, including draping, site scrubbing/prepping, and table setup. Follows sterile technique when preparing for and assisting with procedures. Assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging techniques for optimal image quality. Maintains minimum radiation exposure and fluoro times. Follows medication management guidelines when handling medications, including documentation and labeling. Ensures proper and consistent utilization of radiation protection devices. Maintains an accurate patient fluoro log. Cleans equipment between uses and properly disposes of single-use items. Keeps the work area clean and clutter-free. Contacts Environmental Services immediately when needed. Assesses inventory to ensure no shortages of supplies and logs studies correctly. Participates in mandatory staff meetings, in-services, and training programs. Ensures continued understanding of departmental policies and procedures. Engages in performance improvement processes. Participates in departmental and corporate performance improvement projects. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
