Job Description Care Career is seeking a travel Correctional Mental Health for a travel job in Delano, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Mental Health - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 15 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Duties/Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Accuracy in communications is critical to ensure timely, correct care is provided. - Periodically serve as clinician-of-the-day by being available on-call during scheduled workdays for patient emergencies. - Apply advanced specialty knowledge, clinical skills, and expertise to assess patients and develop a list of actual and potential needs/diagnoses. - Gather health history of patients through interviews with the patient and/or family members. - Apply advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise in planning and implementation of patient care. - Maintain patient documentation in a prompt and comprehensive manner. - Ensure patient calls are returned and follow-ups for referrals are handled promptly. - Provide outstanding behavioral healthcare for clients of all ages by collaborating with primary health care providers, specialists, psychiatrists, dependency programs, and other healthcare professionals.
