A per diem Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Lemoore, California, to provide essential services within a high school setting. This role is designed for professionals skilled in delivering school-based OT services, supporting students with individualized education plans (IEPs) to enhance their educational experience and daily functioning. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver direct OT services to six students as outlined in their IEPs. - Provide monthly 30-minute sessions to three students, ensuring progress toward their therapeutic goals. - Conduct weekly 20-minute sessions for two students, adapting interventions as needed. - Offer consultation services six times annually, each lasting 15 minutes, to support one students needs. - Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within the school environment. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress. Qualifications and Experience: - Valid Occupational Therapy license. - Experience working in school settings, especially with high school students. - Familiarity with IEP development and implementation. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school personnel. - Ability to manage multiple caseloads and schedule flexibly. Location: Lemoore, CA High School Environment Duration: Current School Year (CSY), Per Diem schedule offering flexibility.
