Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED -
Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Bakersfield,
California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED -
Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/11/2025
Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days
Employment Type: Travel CERNER REQUIRED - ER beds 21 - Certs BLS,
ACLS, PALS, & NIHSS are required - Ratios 1 to 4 Schedules are for
4 weeks. Block scheduling is not guaranteed - Floating could happen
between the 2 facilities to the ER. - Common diagnosis / Types of
patient’s- Typical ER patients. Some days they have MedSurg Tele
holds in the ER. ER Nurses will be expected to take these patients.
- Additional Notes- They are a Primary Stroke Center. They rarely
hold "5150 psych holds" longer than 12 hours. They utilize the MET
Team (Mobile Eval Team). Could see 115 patients one day than 175
patients the next day. This must be their primary job. They will
not work around another work schedule to accommodate hours. Must be
