Responsibilities Community Regional Medical Center is home to the region’s only Level I Trauma Center and a growing Med Surg service line consisting of five specialized units. In this 90-bed unit, our team cares for patients across a wide range of acuity levels — including trauma, orthopedic, surgical and more — supported by approximately 150 team members focused on excellence in care and collaboration. - Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to support a high-performing team delivering complex, coordinated care. - Coordinate patient care, drive performance improvements and ensure operational efficiency. - Foster a positive working environment in your unit as part of an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued, and to help team members navigate their career growth. As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts. Qualifications - RN – Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required - BLS – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required - Certifications as required for the unit
