A successful *Medical Assistant *is friendly, professional, and has a natural talent to always put our patients first in delivering unparalleled patient care.*Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:** Excellent administrative and clinical skills* Room patients and obtain vital signs* Obtain and update patient medical history and medication list with accuracy* Prep exam rooms and anticipate provider needs* Assist provider in procedures such as biopsies, surgical procedures, and cosmetic treatments/procedures* Maintain a safe environment for patients and use all safety precautions appropriately.* Other duties as assigned*Education:** High School Diploma required.* Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required.* Medical assistant training is required.*Qualifications:** Must have 2-3 years of experience working in a medical office as a medical assistant.* Prior Dermatology and cosmetic experience is preferred.* Previous clinical experience is required.* Excellent patient care skills.* Plastics experience preferred.* Quality written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.* Strong phone etiquette.* Teamwork.* Professional in appearance and mannerisms.* Able to demonstrate compassion and caring when dealing with others, patients, and co-workers.* Able to prioritize tasks, understand the providers instructions, and know when to seek information or advice.* Strong organizational skills.* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.* EMR experience required.*Our competitive benefits package includes the following:** Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance* Short-term/Long-term disability* Life and other voluntary plans* 401(k) plan* Employee Referral Program* Paid Time-Off* Company-Paid Holidays*Equipment Operated:* Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.*Physical Requirements: *Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; stooping and bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries.
