We are currently seeking experienced Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) to provide services for the Department of Corrections.Qualification Requirements: Contracted Temporary/Relief Primary Care Physician assigned to the Department of Corrections, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years performing services similar in scope in a public or private institution.Specialty Services: Additional experience is required for specialized areas such as emergency medicine, surgery, etc.Obstetrics/Gynecology: Additional experience is required for physicians providing services to female institutions/facilities.Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of California with a valid Physician license issued by the Medical Board/Osteopathic Board of California.Proficiency in the English language for effective communication with Department of Corrections staff.Maintain current certifications, including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and active credentialing status.Service Delivery Requirements: As a Temporary/Relief Primary Care Physician, you will:Provide high-quality telemedicine services within the scope of practice for Primary Care Physician services, following facility policies and procedures.Ensure basic computer competency for remote teleconferencing equipment use.Adhere to established medical staff by-laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.Comply with universal infection control precautions.Authorization:Obtain prior authorization for treatment and transportation/transfers as required by law and department policies.Do not perform experimental or investigational treatments without prior authorization.Adhere to clinical reviews and formulary guidelines provided by the department.Benefits:Competitive compensationFlexible scheduling optionsOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a unique healthcare settingIf you are a licensed Primary Care Physician with telemedicine experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality care, we invite you to join our team at Dependable Staffing Agency.
