Position Summary
The Associate Program Director ("APD") is a key member of the
Family Medicine Leadership team and is tasked with assisting the
Program Director in leading and overseeing the Adventist Health
Tulare Family Medicine Residency Program ("Tulare Family Medicine
Residency"), a community-based training program serving the unique
health care needs of the Central Valley. Tasked with working to
ensure the success of the program's aims and objectives, the
Associate Program Director dedicates an average of twenty-four
hours per week to residency training, ensuring that all
requirements are met. Direct involvement in patient care is
crucial, as well as continuous supervision of the residents,
mentoring, and direct teaching of the residents.
Qualifications
Experience
One to three of Family Medicine educational and/or administrative
experience is preferred.
