Electrician Job Description The Maintenance Electrician is
responsible for all electrical work and maintenance throughout the
facility. This involves repairs, inspections, and new installations
on all machinery. Responsibilities Install, repair, calibrate, and
inspect electrical devices, equipment, and circuits in the plant.
Receive and inspect wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications
to resolve electrical needs. Repair or replace faulty motors,
switches, control panels, circuit breakers, control devices,
batching systems, control instrumentation, and other plant
electrical and electronic equipment. Plan and perform work on
energized circuits. Measure, cut, bend, and install fittings,
switches, controls, fixtures, and wires for all types of electrical
equipment for new installations. Plan and perform skilled soldering
repairs, installation, and calibration of thermocouple and
pyrometer-controlled systems. Essential Skills 5 years experience
working as a journeyman electrician. High School Diploma or
equivalent. Journeyman level Electrician experience. Experience in
industrial control, lighting, and wiring. Ability to stand for 8
hours and lift twenty (20) pounds. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Experience in preventive maintenance,
troubleshooting, and PLC programming. Skills in working with
electrical, mechanical, motors, and electronics. Why Work Here? We

Environment The facility is a manufacturing plant that produces
glass bottles for the wine industry, primarily serving the West
Coast. Employees work on high-speed bottle forming machines,
conveyors, CNC machines, ovens/furnaces for glass heating, glass
forming machinery, and vision systems for quality control. The
position is on the 2nd shift from 2-10pm, with on-call duties for
weekends and emergencies. A probation period of 30 days applies.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of
MADERA, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is
$100880.00 - $100880.00/yr. lots of opportunity for OT Union
company with great benefits Compensation and Schedule: The starting
pay rate for this role is $48.80 per hour. Any future increases are
dictated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Workplace Type
