A high school in Hanford, CA, is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to provide specialized PT services aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This per diem position offers a flexible schedule throughout the current school year (CSY), focusing on delivering essential therapeutic support within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver physical therapy services tailored to individual student needs as outlined in their IEPs. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress. - Provide up to 120 minutes annually for professional consultations, with potential for increased consultation time. - Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports to ensure compliance and integrated care. - Participate in interviews scheduled for January 5th. Qualities and Experience Desired: - Valid Physical Therapy licensure and certification. - Experience providing PT services in school settings preferred. - Strong understanding of educational goals and how PT contributes to student success. - Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. - Time management skills suited for per diem and consultative work.
