This role involves executing various remodeling and repair projects in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate project specifications and customer needs to develop a comprehensive plan for remodeling and repairs. - Demolition and Preparation: Safely remove existing structures or fixtures as needed and prepare sites for new installations. - Installation and Construction: Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other tasks to complete remodeling projects according to design specifications. Repairs: Address issues such as drywall damage, flooring problems, and fixture replacements with precision and attention to detail. Finishing Work: Apply finishing touches, including painting, tiling, and cabinetry, ensuring a polished final product. - Project Management: Coordinate timelines and resources, manage subcontractors if applicable, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. - Customer Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle. - Compliance and Safety: Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training preferred. - Proven experience in remodeling, construction, or repair work. - Proficiency in a variety of trade skills, including carpentry, and electrical work. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
