Job Description:

Full Charge Bookkeeper Are you an experienced bookkeeper capable of overseeing daily accounting operations while maintaining a strong focus on the organization? We seek a passionate, detail-oriented bookkeeper who enjoys working mostly independently. If you enjoy the challenge of keeping multiple books and like to make systems better, this could be a great role for you. You will be in charge of payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciling accounts, managing vendor relationships, and creating budgets. Our ideal candidate is very experienced in bookkeeping, expert level in QuickBooks, highly organized, self-motivated, and a quick learner. Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations Develop monthly reports and yearly budgets Recording Transactions & Maintaining Records Ensure transactions are recorded properly in all ledgers Process payroll to distribute payment to employees on time Process accounts receivable and accounts payable in a timely manner Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements Maintain employee files Process new hire forms Communicate with vendors and customers Manage phones Banking Other tasks as assigned Annual tax assistance (Such as w-9 creation and distribution) Work directly with CEO Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent GED required; degree in finance or related field preferred Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Exemplary communication skills, math skills, strong leadership skills, and customer service skills are vital Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks (3 years minimum experience) Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills 5+ years payroll experience (in house) 5+ years accounts payable and accounts receivable experience Proficiency in Google Products ( Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel The ability to multi-task Knowledge of standard office equipment Highly Motivated and a Self-Starter Impeccable analytical and organizational skills About Company: The company is a growing agricultural, commercial, and residential real estate company focusing on investments in the central valley and central coast of California.
